(where n is a positive integer)
Was at a class picnic where we started on the topic of blogs, which well made me feel like writing a post o.O seems like quite a few of them has blogs lol.

Anw just thought of writing a concluding post of well JC life?
3rd Aug (or whichever date was the wednesday before the 1st free food distribution thingy) was quite an impt day for my JC life as it was the day i "woke up" and started to do things to make things right. somewhere mid J1 or so, somehow I lost interest in acads and the like, with things peaking or should I say hitting rock bottom at J2's mid year ><
Thinking back, I didn't actually study for it. :\

Anw since that fateful day, almost every weekday w/ or w/o school was spent at school all the way till it closed at night, and I suppose there are more or less this group of ppl whom we see every night at sch lol. Many thanks to John for accompanying me and also kinda teaching me the whole of H2 Math and physics which is well alot, and also answer my many questions.. and also for my math teacher for constantly pushing me to work more too. And also the many other ppl who I often see around school, and sometimes study with; they definitely made studying a more enjoyable experience ^^ Indeed, these many nights in hwa chong (and not 1 night in beijing) was rather worthwhile as the fruits begin to show at prelims, where i changed milk to at least something look-able.

Well As are over, and there's nothing more i can do about it except gaming professionally and await the day of its release. Oh and the terrifying day of 2nd Feb before that. But well I can say that I did try my best and put in my best shot (at least for the last 3~4 months) for the exam, and hopefully am able to get satisfactory results.

Guess that's all I wanna say for now.
A lvls is, as some say a distraction from life. But well it was a rather enriching and pushing but yet rather fun and enjoyable experience mugging towards a final goal.
Like all obstacles, proper motivation is needed to overcome it.

"Life is sad, life is bad. So when the going gets tough, you know you have to be mad"
Well as pessimistic as this sounds, it kinda helped me pull through all the late nights.

Anw back to gaming. Happy gaming/slacking reader! :D

Rsndom update

Hello!

Ah been long since I last saw this screen of publishing a blog post and stuff. Never had too much memories of it anw. Life in J2 has been quite tiring as most would relate to.

A brief overview of my schedule is:
Monday - sch ends at 3.
Tuesday - H3 + French incubator programme. end at 7.
Wednesday - sch ends at 2:30.
Thursday - H3, end at 6:30
Friday - French incubator programme, end at 7

Recently, there has been a lot of hype over the very "well-loved" song Friday by Rebecca Black. Initially, I thought it was a song Black Friday by someone called Rebecca. As it was like "Rebecca Black-Friday" yea.

It has excellent lyrics, being quoted to have "family value", and also we hear words we relate to in everyday life. What's more its video spiked to 100m views in like 1 month? haha but well sad she has like 89% dislikes lol.

While its still fresh, check out this podcast on sg elections!
http://www.mrbrownshow.com/2011/04/02/the-mrbrown-show-election-day/
cool stuff.

Oh well since this year there was this period of trend of telling jokes why not end off with one.

How many psychiatrist does it take to change a light bulb?
1, but the light bulb must want to change.

cheers,
skk

Holidays and more

Lol ok wow been like 6 months.

Anw hi back to kiat long (on tag board) lol.

Many things have come and go. This is my second trophy whee(first was from Project's Day O.o)
Well though I have to admit among the team I contributed the least, at least I tried my best to help. Haha project round was really fun indeed! Though I was extremely nervous, I think I did much better than the time I did my council campaign speech. I still cringe whenever I think of that time -- how badly I screwed it. But oh well. Time to rejoice! :D

One of the teammates got best astronomer too! Quite a double joy :P

Today was quite a nice day too, though nothing productive was done yet. After waking up i like watched Gremlins 2 and 200 pounds beauty on tv haha. Then slacked the whole day till now. Rawr Chinese homework due tomorrow. I wonder if I should hand in. Guess I should.. But then.. Don't feel like doing :( Never in the mood for Chinese :S

Yay seniors are treating us all for our effort :) Hmm but then I have a checkup on tuesday for weight.. Argh.. Bad timing :S

Hurray Batam trip coming, the free karaoke! :D :D Though I really should follow the others and mug during the trip >< But I really would love to enjoy.. Well though I'm only involved in project round, hope my team do well!! :D And achieve our goal ;D

The past half a year (or maybe less) of mugging will culminate tomorrow, the first of the 2 fateful days.

Project round seems and sounds like something really really fun. Well at least for what my team is doing. Acting haha. OR rather, acting like very very enthusiastic individuals selling the product. Video, though more stable (less or rather no chances of screwing up), would be more preparation work, and also less excitement IMO. Really excited. Hope my stage fright won't act up and I screw up badly! D:

Hmm distracted myself a little and went to see facebook. Saw a J2 senior had a PW group outing to Genting. Wow. I really envy them. I don't see any chance of my group being so well bonded, given 1 of the PRCs just concentrate on mugging and not have much of a social life. Ok hope this isn't flaming or what not. Really do wish somehow can have an outing with friends to some other place, like Genting. That would be fun. Had thought of that since like sec 3? Going out with frens though to a rather familiar location, is definitely a different experience. I hope I do have a close group of friends. I'm not sure if I have any strong friendship now..

P.S. I checked culminate on dictionary.com for its meaning and wow there's an astro related meaning! :D
Culminate: Astronomy . (of a celestial body) to be on the meridian, or reach the highest or the lowest altitude.

AstroChallenge

AC is coming.. 1 day more (past 12 am)

Hope HC teams can do well and well achieve our goal :D
Would be taking a break from my CenTaD project, Radio telescope, to focus on astrochallenge. The members and the teacher, most active is Mr Tan PK, are all quite nice it seems. Friendly. Also one thing that Mr Tan did which really help motivates me:
In the job allocation email:

kah keong: mug and win! ^_^

Haha. That made me smile, and feel really encouraged.

Some of my classmates are nearly completed with the QM course already. I think they would have benefitted much more than what I did last year, considering I was like awake 50% of the time.

I wonder when I would start for block test. With this week gone to Astrochallenge, and the next to Batam, plus I need like time to start my engine (i.e. slack). So erm.. Would it be yet another last minute thing? Though I hope not, I guess its something inevitable.. Being the last minute person I am.. Sometimes I wonder why I'm in SMTP too. Definitely not the Khoo standard. No that's too high. But then, still I guess my standard ain't that good. Guess I got lucky with the test. But such stuff don't always come.

I should start revising. Right..

Oh and time flies. Unknowningly its 1.5 weeks into the holidays already. Just as I had this internal conversation at the start of the holidays...
"Yay! Its the June Holidays!!"
"Holidays? Right......."

Ok erm. Right. Finally what I came to do this post for. Project round for astrochallenge seems quite interesting. Though the initial plan was scrapped due to it not so fitting the question or something liddat, giving too little info. Though it seems quite fun to be acting. Hmm though hope I don't get stage fright on the actual day... Stage fright seems to still be a problem for me..

Any more random thoughts? Oh yes, don't think I will be able to fulfil the 8 point requirement of HACAS. Ahh sad.. I was hoping to go to a MUN at the end of the year. Maybe ask a friend to inform me when there is MUN in the future. Then just sign up and like "crash" :D

Ok erm. Crashing is fun. Quite. Well sometimes. Ok not everytime. But well it is quite fun at the right times! Like how I got treated to Hagen Daz. Or something along that line. Yep. It was really nice. The actors were damn good haha, able to instinctively cover up for all the screw ups which occurred here and there. The apollo nerd was one guy who did a nice cover-up for the screw ups haha. and Harry's beard/mustache/side burn whatever its called was nicely done with face paint-- looked damn real from afar. Also, the other actors whom i knew did a great job too.

All was nice though sadly I sat alone. Was hoping to notice a fren or two to sit along but sadly the number of people i knew present in the audience was countable with the fingers, contrary to the belief of a classmate that I know "the world" :P After that went home ler. Was hoping to find ppl to go supper or smth but oh well.

2010 seems full of screw ups.

Byebye

CSM astro BBQ CL test blah blah

Hmm many things have passed since the emo over astro.

Yet another rejection by SSRC and also Fac comm which was quite disappointing but oh well.. Fac comm didnt even seem interested in my proposal at all. Furthermore I had heard Chern Yuen was very very good in his interview.. Oh well.

SSRC's interview was quite fun actually. I managed to answer questions. But then alas, I did not get in. Don't know why :( Asked a senior from SSRC to enquire bout it if possible lol.

CSM was quite a fun day. Ok not actually fun. But got time off from lessons. I was itching to play the piano during csm. Then sadly they blocked me from going to the piano area. so sad.. :( Then i was like looking at a friend previously from NPCC walking in the area behind those walls. hmm....

After CSM went with astro ppl to SRC. There they had a discussion about exco and stuff. A little depressing actually but then also amusing to listen to some ppl give advice to the juniors on what they have learnt contributing to astro in their term.
"contributing" i should say :P

later on went with an astro fren to a physics remedial. technically just for her class but i went along since my physics sux. It was on kinematics lol. I did the mcq then 1 didnt know. Then as he explained, i went from wide awake to fast asleep. I should stop sleeping in Dr lim's lesson >.<. Slept like more than 3 times and got caught alr =X oops.

Then erm next was going to ECP. before that, we went to Parkway Parade to buy stuff from Giant. Note to self: $20. We spent about $100 on the stuff we bought(mainly logistics like plates, and also 3 kg of chicken, like about 20 drumsticks liddat. lol) Then one guy received a call from another j2 who unfortunately pissed him off by hanging up on him when he told her to go to Giant. Then we went off to ECP.

BBQ started as soon as we reached. Some ppl went to fly kite and I went to take a look as well. Then J was teaching J how to do cartwheel. Haha. The 1st J is joining back judo apparently, after quitting due to an injury.

hmm then as night fall, we moved to mainly staying around the bbq pit. It was briefly raining, reminding me of another bbq experience. then there were many terms like MO (Margarine Officer), CO (Cooking Officer), UO (Umbrella Officer), EO (Eating Officer), FO (Food Officer). All these random terms arising from the first, which is parodying marginal opportunity. econs =S

then erm ate and chatted, then also there was this brief singing haha. Trying to sing all the nursery rhymes in an emo tune, like minor or something. then the guy who lived nearest to ECP had brought along his bike. I just took his bike and cycled to a place where we had the earth hour star party. memories.. night cycling that night too :D

Then went back and ate a little more and then they announced EXCO positions. Then I just felt sian and so went to cycle again, this time in the oppposite direction haha.
Cycled back and then they were apparently playing with ice during the clean up. Shorting after SJ's parents arrived and came home.

Today was CL Oral and Listening compre test. I was late coz i tot it started at 8:30(didnt rmb about listening compre) then like 7:20 i reached sch, told my mother got 1 more hour, so we went to eat at adam road there. Ended up only know it had started at like 8 then rushed to school. lucky didnt miss much. then oral during the waiting time, one classmate who wasnt at the listening compre came in saying he overslept lol. he totally forgot. win. then oral was quite ok though i stutter alot.
Music room and got my fingers on piano :D

sadly i waste any possible time I can and did not achieve anything throughout the whole day.

Oh well bye.

JTS

hello reader! (note the singularity)

Today(or rather ytd, since its 1:10 am now) I had JTS, junior treat senior.
As you know, it was quite an enjoyable time. Really cheered me up after an extremely emotional day/night before that.. Ate for about 2 hours at seoul garden. My first time eating there, quite a fun experience!

One very funny moment today that still make me laugh:
(we had not much money left so were actually planning to stay till 10)
Q: Have you all eaten the ice cream?
A: No that's for 9 to 10

another epic moment(this was at the start):
(seniors had gone into seoul garden, along with 2 classmates)
A classmate: Eh let's go KFC! Cheaper than Seoul garden!!:D :D
Others: Great idea! Let's go! :D :D

lol. anw after that had a very fun hour playing drums/piano. Went back to outside seoul garden and saw our senior class STILL eating. They must be having a whale of time.

then sadly the class gonna go home alr. so just took train. had a mini karaoke session haha.

Rather fun day. Though sad my future has been screwed forever.. Life is tough..

P.S. Elections on the last day of the month is DEFINITELY bad for me.
Look at council: 31st Mar
Astro: 30th Apr.
Dejavu is it not?

No position. The disappointment reminds me of scouts. I was actually hoping(though not as much) of getting a position, at least an APL. But no. I was doomed to be a PM. That I didnt mind. I wasn't that outstanding a scout anw. Our batch had much more outstanding people. But astro. That is really disappointing. When everything was previously so rosy just failed. What you pinning all your hopes on disappointing you. That is just plain saddening.

Oh anw a random post about a fren staying up late. email deleted for privacy :S
<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 180px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_NTZc-M44BwY/S9xlTTg_V0I/AAAAAAAAAAk/uKDPXicfCxM/s320/fren+up+late.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5466355430051501890" />

life is tough.. shattered dreams..

Yet again a long inactive period. I guess its only you left who would know i made this post.

Today really made me very emo.. Losing the chance to be in the exco for astro is not only just a loss in the astro position. Its the shattering of dreams and basically making my future screwed.. Living life for so long, I've never really had a certain goal and aim. Recently after watching the Yale music video which i so fell in love in, I had firmly decided that I really wanted to go to an overseas university.

To go to an overseas uni, the first step would be to get a scholarship, and more or less an exco position is required for me to even have the chance to CONSIDER applying for one. Yet just about a week or two after I had made a goal, a dream, it got shattered in just 5 short minutes.

I don't know what to expect of life anymore. life.. my future seems gloom.. Life is really hard.. haiz..

Thoughts just come and go. Time spend mugging astro and with astro friends are quite fun.

So far we haven't really achieved much in terms of lessons considering only maths lecture was simply revision of simple topics like algebra, and the others didnt seem that related to the actual things done in lessons, like e.g. the bio activity.

Some activities were optional, so for the one on Friday, I chose lit over chem, on the basis that since the activity is like to persuade you to take that subject, since i'm definitely taking it, i didnt need to be persuaded. So why not go try out the other activities, to get an experience what it's like. So the lit activity was quite amusing, providing great entertainment, for example watching videos, of a modernized romeo and juliet, and also a singaporean style of it. The sg one is called Chicken Rice War. Though it was like totally off from the actual story, the competition between two families was present and the furious serving of chicken rice was just hilarious.

Ytd, there was an astro talk which only I went. It was a little boring but managed to catch some parts though i think it isnt that too helpful. Went to sakae sushi to celebrate the win of last year's astro challenge team as 3rd. I just kind of tagged along. It was real nice, spamming unagis like crazy. x)

Unfortunately to say, the rest of the time from then till now has been unproductive, with me not touching any materials despite the smtp selection test being tomorrow..

All the best to myself! :)

Holidays are ending

Time flies and its the end of the year already..

Many things have happened.. Just hope i don't have to take chinese in JC.. For this miracle to happen.

THIMUN was quite fun being secretariat, being able to slack in the room just doing printing.. However it was also nice i got to experience note passing. it was fun yet tiring. Good thing I only had to do it once..

HIC was on my birthday.. But it did really made my day, and i really liked the skit made by some classmates with a few others, along with over a 100+ members of the audience. The votes they garnered was more than the other 3 skits combined.

That was Oct and Nov I guess. The rest of the time didnt have anything significant to remember..

Dec is full of project work i guess.

First two weeks was spent going to sch for the antibacterial project.. However much of our efforts seem to have gone down the drain, as the experiment doesn't produce any new results..

Then about mid Dec, my attachment to DSO started, having been pushed back by about 1 whole month due to this and that problems.. Then I started alternating between DSO and Sch, going to school when there is nothing on the day for DSO.

Somewhere in the midst, I went for a LAN session with some school mates. It was my first time playing L4D2, which was really fun despise me being really bad at it... Then this Monday I went with some of them again for another LAN session after labwork at sch. This time, a few stayed behind to watch Avatar after LAN.

Many seem to say Avatar is really good. Maybe it was coz i was watching in 2D which makes it didnt strike out too well, with one guy identifying quite a few areas which would be stunning in 3D. Then 2 days later went to watch Bodyguards and assassin at night. I felt the movie was really good.

Christmas was spent at my cousin's house. but it could be compared to staying at home coz of a few reasons.. But then the adults played mahjong till 1:30 am and by the time we reached home it was 2.. And now is boxing day which was spent slacking again.

on a side note, I received OSA. yay, though there is the hassle of getting 3 MB photos and stuff..

Plants VS Zombies

Recently I found an interesting game called Plants VS. Zombies. Basically its just tower defence. You plant plants to protect your house from zombies. Quite interesting. Completed the main adventure and am playing the minigames.

Here are some pictures.

These were shot while playing survival mode.

This game reminded of how i used to play an imaginary tower defence when i was young. The times where we had to practice writing chinese words, I treated it as a game of tower defence, with the “enemies” invading from the 4 sides of the page and my “tower” is supposedly the centre. Haha the good old times.

Sad my weekend is gone.

skk

Yay MUN Interview postponed.

Wow Windows Live Writer seems like an interesting program. I may start blogging more often due to this =DD

But then again I don’t have any more readers so that doesn’t matter.

Anyway, hurray! MUN Interview is postponed yet again

From SMB:

Gentlemen,
Please note that the interview scheduled for tomorrow has been postponed to next Friday, 24 July. Time, venue and schedule of interview remain unchanged.
If your interview slot clashes with your EP3, please inform your EP3 teacher of your possibly being late.
Thank you.
Regards,
Ms Tan

Woots haha. More time to prepare. I really hope to go MUN. It sounds so fun. Speaking is a nice thing to, or so I found out today, even though I screwed up the Oral Assessment.

I’ve realised our homework load is near 0. Why?! Some people say it is to allow us time to study. This possibility is indeed sound. Then again it is term 3 already. Plus, school ends at 1:20 everyday, except Thursdays of course. Life sure is freaking slack. The secondary 1 days.. Oh no.. I’d better not keep slacking. Geography was extremely unsatisfactory. The exam of course. I only scrapped a B3 while others obtained a high A1, a very very respectable score. *Oh My!!*

Ok that’s all for today. Haha.

ciao,

skk

Reflections and Happenings

Things in life has changed much or so it seems. Spending the past hour ++ reading blogs, something I haven't done for quite some time, made me think back on stuff.

Testimonial and Personal Statement was one of the more important happenings. We have to write the testimonial in a 3rd person perspective which was rather odd. I was really crapping about basically nothing.

Project. On the surface of the log book, it seems to be doing extremely well. The unapparent truth, there is still so much more that we're missing out on. People have their web reports done. Mine doesn't exist. People have theirs being regarded as the most promising project in the category. Mine is just another antibacterial project, though the only plus point its not on some already known stuff. I really hope to get into finals for Proj Day. I have never experienced that joy in the past 3 years. Always got kicked out in Semis, even worse preliminaries..

Results. I didn't do well for my geography exam, which means I must focus a lot on my IHC and China Studies. I appreciate Chinese as a language, but dread doing it. However, lately I have been better able to read Chinese, e.g. YZZK. Maths test was quite good, considering I felt I was anyhow doing since I prepared with a blur mind the day before. Obtained a mere A1, though I definitely could have done better. Physics was quite a stun, getting stunned at quite a few questions. Was able to do, though some misconception here and there. What's more, kinematics is my weakest physics topic.

Piano. I seriously wasted my parents' money. Primary School time was seriously screwed up piano-wise. I practically slacked all 6 years. Secondary School, I had gained a better interest in music, and also started picking up songs of a more modern nature, the likes of tong hua and qing tian. Other than Canon in D and the upcoming exam pieces, I can't play any other classical songs already. haiz. So much for classical piano course. Thinking back, I hadn't completed much in my primary school time. Secondary School is quite late to catch up. Everyone is already at grade 7, 8 or even going for diploma. Furthermore, my playing time is really short, like just 15 minutes a day, when i'm supposed to be committing an hour.. Piano Exam coming up in just 2 months. If I really want to do well, I'd better be practising frequently (longer periods) starting from now.

Schedule. First time I'm ending a day at 9, and reaching home at 10, on a regular basis. This occurs every Thursday for this term. There better not be the existence of a test on Friday, if not I am royally screwed. Plus the subjects on friday includes maths and biology, pretty heavy subjects i must say. This is my life on thurs: School ends at 2:40 (its the only day we have to stay back after school), YDSP World of Science series till 6:15, and finally piano till 9. There is time in between no doubt, but the schedule is extremely tight and I'm gonna be rushing from Week 4 onwards as YDSP would no longer be in school.

Procastination. My greatest horror and my most frequented activity at the same time. I got rid of it in term 2 (i think). After the holidays, the terror has came back to strike me again. And it has indeed made a mark. Last time, I started work at 9. Now, I'm starting near midnight. Totally terrible. I definitely need to exclude it from my life, secondary 4 is in its 2nd half already, time is of the essence.

Rest. I'm definitely not having enough rest. This is justified from the fact I feel sleepy during school times. Or is it that my sleep cycle has change. The past holidays has had its impact on me. I have started sleeping later, the likes of 3 a.m. or so. Definitely bad. What's worse I had to wake up at 8 then. I have to wake at about 6 now. Some people make it up sleeping in class, and these people are the geniuses. I am not. Staying awake in class, I myself can become lost, what's worse to say sleeping in class. And of course, watching people opening pokemon booster packs at an unearthly time like 2 a.m. and being wide awake is definitely not a good sign.

Change. I guess I've changed much since Secondary 1, though not all for the positive side. Some people has had positive change, becoming more vocal, more outspoken, more brave etc. I felt i have gone the bad way instead. One major factor I must say, is undeniably computer games, in particular maple story. Many find this lame and retarded, however its the catch of levelling which really made me amused enough to get addicted. It has made me met some friendly people. But the things it took away from me is countless. I remember i was quite quick witted as a primary school boy. Now, I'm getting slower in thinking, and have mind blocks at school. This might be due to lack of sleep, but then camping in front of the computer does have its adverse effects as well. I was not thinking. I was merely exercising not myself, but my fingers, which does not require that much exercise in itself. Maybe I shouldn't have followed the computer gaming trend, like how I was thinking in the first half of sec 1, that I would never ever dabble with these stuff.

Reflection is one thing. Doing is another. Having spent time voicing out my reflections, I shall attempt to change. That's all for now.

School starting

I doubt anyone remembers this.

hmm for most schools, it started this week. Have been learning at home instead =D

Hols:
QM course
An enriching course (2 weeks leh), but took up alot of time.. and the first 2 weeks of the hols flew past just like that. Sadz lor. Everyday go home 5 pm also dun feel like doing work.

VLC
Yet another slack scouts camp. We even got bunk beds.. First time in history man.. The only bad point is they made us stay up till 4 am. But can wake up at 8 + or 9. Not bad man.

SYM:
A fun camp. Definitely enjoyable. Didn't expect the people to want to keep contact. It didn't seem that much of a group thing afterall, well maybe on the third day i guess. Their library quite nice. Got a whole collection of CDs. By far my favourite part was the filming and radio. Radio in particular coz its a new and rare experience.

Miscellaneous outings:
BBQ
a barbeque in the rain. fun haha. The other group bbq-ing ran away as soon as the sky turned dark. We happily bbq-ed with umbrellas lol.. and we succeed in maintaining the fire. yay.

Movie outing
Went with a pri sch friend. Watched transformers. Nice movie. Awesome. I wonder why the reviewers were so against it. Its really nice..

BSP camp group outing (or ining)
Intially planned to go ECP. Changed eventually, to a movie screening session. Watch harry potter and zohan(not exactly sure of that guy's name). Played stress! after that. They were commenting i'm too understressed.

Homelearning week.
Essentially a fail thing. People were confused. People were sleeping. People were daoing. Some people woke up at 5 am and did everything by 8 am. Coming to think of it, I haven't completed the work for day 1 when the week is already ending.. Ahh!!

Let's be realistic and look forward.

Youth Day:
I hope i dun slack it away. But considering me, I could very well procastinate it away.

oh well shall end here.
skk

Nobody

There seems to be a recent craze over the song "Nobody" by the Wondergirls, for my school, or my cca at least. Personally, I find that it is a really nice song. Here are some nice mvs found:

Eng version:

Compliation of uploaded vids:

Just returned from a camp, helping out was quite slack, though pity the poor SPL who was the main SWAT. The others spent much time slacking I should say. Left on 2nd day to go to a teacher's wedding, and coincidentally, his newly-wed wife teaches at the school the camp was held.

Today was the one and only activity we were required, situational course. Sadly, I only managed to improve on my station after the first group came. Oh well at least there's improvements, though I later gained some feedback it was an easy station.

Then aft was water bomb which was quite wet for some. Some were less dry, while some were not wet at all. An afternoon spent on "teambuilding games".. Memories of the same camp which I attended back in 07. After breaking camp, wanted go watch movie, however due to the time slot only 8:30 pm, it was postponed as people felt they would fall asleep in the movie as well.

That's about it.

Insight series

Nothing much happened over the week, except getting back of most if not all results and the insight series..

The insight series was possibly a success?, though there were people who felt they learnt nothing from the presentation which is sad for them. Unfortunately it has been deleted for no apparent/unapparent reason.

Next results.
physics A2 which was extremely disappointing..... plus losing 3 marks to careless mistakes doesn't make it any better when you are half mark away from A1...
Chem A1 though I wished my MCQ didn't screw up....
Bio A1 yay
IHC epic fail which makes my IH grade a C6 so my msg for this term is officially the screwed up.

and thus I conclude that this week is fail and sadded.

I should start doing my work and stop being bored..

yay test week over

Week of Science test is over !! at least the weekdays are gone. Now there's only IHE Exam, Maths trigo test and the upcoming Chinese common test to prepare for.

Physics: Spent 3 days Hope can do well.
Chemistry: MCQ seems quite screwed. Hopefully don't die
Biology: Essay and the drawing question might be screwed, hopefully not though.

Apparently my group for human rights got selected to present at the Humanities Insight Series, so we have to present while the others are taking their Chinese common test, and we get to have it at a later date. Hopefully it is something good? Still need to make amendments to the museum box by Monday...

I seriously hope IHC doesn't screw up.. Ms Sunita apparently got quite pissed at us going to class so slowly, and that we are not independent learners. So she decided not to go through our class' papers again. Hopefully I don't screw up. A borderline C6 for geography does not bode well, adding on a terrible IHC grade would definitely be detrimental to the maximal extent to my already terrible msg of this term.. How I wish I could obtain something like last term or better...

Oh well. I shall not worry over tests and attempt to enjoy the 3 days up ahead and hope for the best for the tests.....

Have a nice day,
skk

Labour Day + weekend gone

i should be sleeping now..

Anyway the past three days was quite hectic.

Physics is tough, especially when you missed around 6 weeks of lesson, with the teacher at bsc being not exactly enthu. Distinct memories of him saying "Ok, I've taught this chapter finish" after writing formulas and talking for 5 minutes, then proceeding to say "do the worksheet. You need the practice." Apparently much was left out. How to draw a circuit etc.. Argh.

Looking at my yue bao xin de for fun at 1:30, I found quite a few 错别字, like how 华文 somehow became 花纹 as it was the only two word that is registered for "hua wen". Lol..

Thinking about blogs, my maths blog is quite fail, with me being the only one who posted, and having only 3 rather pathetic posts. It was held at Punggol jetty area (the forest beside it). Met up at 8.15 then made our way there. Soon after, we were in the forested area beside it. Walking for a while, we finally found a place to settle down and start our "camp site". It was a traumatizing 7 hours, highly dehydrated despite having drunk about 2 litres of water. Starting out, I was tasked to collect fire wood. It was amusing at times, for example we found something that seems like it was once a tree. Later, I was required to do water catchment, which I screwed up unfortunately. Using guidance from other groups, barely did up a catchment. Later, I was supposed to man the fire and cook food which was a task I can't handle due to my extreme noobness. Required help for maintaining the fire as I didn't really liked to feeling of ember or ash or whatever the white stuff flying all over possibly onto the face. The chicken somehow had its skin tore, possibly cooked too well. Tasted okok. Potatoes were black, corn, half black half yellow. Interesting. Adding on, the rice actually looked cooked for a moment, with it being fat and white, though it dried up later and looked uncooked by then.

Overall, we were required to build a shelter, a trap, a water catchment, cook food for 3 ppl and a "toilet". Amazingly my group members tanked the others while I was basking in the hot sun. Unfortunately, all I was tasked to do was more or less in the sun, making me end up with a sun burn or the like. At around 5, we finally ended the activity. My group passed shelter and food, which was better considering 1 other group had the same results, the other 2 didn't pass shelter. Later, threw away rubbish and bought a drink, where many conveniently washed their hands in the ice water. Then bus 82 came and we travelled to Punggol. Went to Compasspoint at Seng Kang 1 stop away, for dinner. Then came home, where I don't feel cold even with the fan AND aircon on.

And I remembered wad happened yesterday! Was given a half day for the achievements in cca, yet still had cca haiz =(. Half day was more or less wasted.. To rub salt to the wound, after going there, they soon announced it was optional.. Ended up leaving at 3+ and slacked in sch till 5+. Then came back home seeing an emb msg saying:

"Please note that it is up to the discretion of your CCA teachers to
decide if your CCA would proceed today, perhaps due to preparation
for upcoming competitions or arrangement with the
coaches/instructors.

However, if your CCA were to proceed today, you would be compensated
after your competitions, in which your teachers would identify a CCA day
for you to rest."

This set me thinking, my cca doesn't have competition, which means we have no compensation!! Noo. T.T oh well what can I do.

k that's all for now.
Good bye loyal readers.

Project's day

Today came by and went just like that.

Yesterday my laptop was upgraded to Windows Vista which I am quite happy about, though I ended up spending the whole night using the comp and unfortunately completing no work at all.

Today was project's day, and one thing was my group was allocated the last group of the last slot. How perfect. First half before recess was spent stoning and listening to presentation in LT @ SRC, which the second half was spent in the library. After a game of DoTA, I came to a final conclusion that indeed, DoTA is a stressful game, looking at how people are so engrossed, and shout at each other to "Back! Back! Back!" or "(Ulti)! (Ulti)! (Ulti)!". Then went for presentations which was quite screwed as we didnt present quite some bit of information. Next went to support Class debates, which apparently hardly anyone went at all. Went in to find 2 other classmates there, 1 for the opposing team and other than judges, teachers and cameraman, there were no further audience. My class won in the end, with the ultimate aid of a "physical sweeper" which "1 hit KO" in the pokemon sense. Some of the people unfortunately did not meet our expectations though someone whom people regarded a fool actually did well in debates.

The past weekend was spent chionging CHAOS 09. It all was because I had done research on one of the questions and someone leaving the team, leading to me recruiting a new guy, and pestering the rest to chiong their part as well. On Monday night at about 11:30 pm, I finally experienced the joy of completion, and with a wide smile sent an email to j loh. Also much thanks to him were we able to extend a day.

2:17 AM really isn't a time I should be blogging.

BSC ended; the precious memories brought back

Been thinking of writing this post for the past 2 days, yet never remembered to do so.

Today was the first day of school upon returning to Singapore from Beijing. Was filled with stuff like a Chinese composition and Napfa 5 items test. How fun. Shall not elaborate on this though. Tmr, the next batch of people will be leaving. Filled with an envy, I look back at the memories in BSC, Beijing.

My room consisted of 5 people, all of which are from my class.Much memories were that of in the dorm, in school, in the track and field, or the school's mini-stadium.

I remember the times in the dorm, doing work, playing CS, making pokemon fusions, the times people randomly come into our room, the card games, the times Kenji came dashing in with a loud "fuu". I remember the time we played CS till 3 am in the morning, and the times when we stayed in for the day, making me feel sinned. The times where being unable to connect caused much displeasure. I remember laundry days, which was Friday for my room. At 8:30 sharp, we would pack our laptops and rush straight for the dorm, and pile up our used clothes before dumping them into all 3 washing machines. Then, we would go get breakfast for Saturday while waiting for the laundry. I also remember the times where there was hardly any clothes hanger in the laundry room. The toilet, even bring back its own memories, unfortunately not the pleasant kind.

I remember the tests we took in Beijing. The biology test, in which was postponed from the previous week before we left. Also, the maths test on differentiation here, which everyone felt was difficult and that they did badly.

I remember the times in school. The classroom where we worked, played, self-studied, and torrented.. I remember the small garden in the middle of the school, the road which we take to get to the canteen. I remember the track, with each round being a mere 200m, 2.4 takes a wretched 12 rounds to complete. I remember the field, the place where we had fun playing soccer. I remember the 3 rounds we ran everyday when the weather was cold. I remember the mass exercise when the place turned warmer. I remember the morning Chinese lessons, where many had their heads buried in their folded arms. I also remember the snowball fights, the handprints in the snow. I also remember the PE lessons. The table tennis where we had to share a table. And also the basketball game where me Troy, Kiat Long and John got thrashed by 4 girls, possibly from basketball during immersion week. I also remember the self-study sessions, where sometimes we played CS, shoddy battle, while there were also the serious times, doing work.

I remember immersion week. Me and Ephraim were posted to 高二（四）班. Though the buddy did not really communicate with us, there were some people who were quite friendly. I remember the 艺术课, where I watched The Phantom of the Opera for the first time, though having heard about it before, and starting to like the songs in the movie, though unfortunately we were unable to finish the whole movie. I remember the english lessons, which reminded me of the earlier styles of teaching english in a more structured manner.

I remember 红桥, the pearl market, where Leymo Coffee, a starbucks lookalike is. The time one of us pissed a shop keeper off by haggling and walking away. Went there thrice, but never really saw all the anime stalls, Toy City, the time we went in high spirits for an iphone, only to find it was bad.

I remember 绣水街, where the prices could be cut dramatically, from hundreds to tens. The haggling process, the random attempts to piss shopkeepers off, and also the 2K ++ Harley Davidson Jacket. It was also the place I obtained my hand-carry bag, also the place I bought all my new shirts and a pair of jeans.

I remember 西单, where the prices were all very high and unreducable, with a doraemon shirt costing as much as 240 RMB. I also remember the shop which was having a mass sale, possibly cos it was closing down, and where I bought the jeans at a mere 45 yuan, whose pockets were sewed up.

I remember the various fieldtrips, to places like the Great Wall, the National Theatre or something along that line, the Beijing Zoo with the Aqua World thingy, the dolphin performance, 圆明园 and 天坛公园 near 红桥.

I remember 欢乐谷, the theme park in Beijing. The rides, Crystal Wing, Apollo's wheel, the Ride through the jungle thingy which was rocky and where YY amazingly managed to maneuver the popcorn so that none fell out. There was also the water ride, with the second fall being one of the tallest few. I also remember the 1000 ton hammer which some bought, I remember the hand-like thing on a stick, which pointed the number 7 and costed 10 yuan.

I also remember the 天外天烤鸭, the Roasted Duck store near the dorm. The first experience there wasn't exactly too pleasant, with the rice arriving only after ALL the dishes had been eaten. The atmosphere then was gloomy. The second time we went there to crashgate a guy's family dinner though they only arrived when we were finishing. Then, we had requested for the rice to come quickly, and the meal turned out much better. I also remember the 羊肉串. Though we were never exactly a big fan of it, I remember spamming those on the last Wednesday there, to savour a last taste of it.

Thinking back, there is still so much more of the place in my memory. The drinks there: 统一, the milk tea, the 营养快线. All the precious memories of Beijing, all obtained within the short but extremely memorable 6 weeks, will forever be etched in every BSC-goers' mind. The photos taken during the stay may just be photos, but they do speak a thousand words, bring back all these heart-warming memories of the place where we stayed for 6 whole weeks.

2 weekends more

2 more weekends in BSC and I would be back in Singapore.

Results were released today and personally I feel that I have done well for this term, with it being the best term 1 msg since sec 1.

Over the course of the week, I went to the Great Wall. Unfortunately, I did not reach the peak, only stopping at a tower before the great climb. Interestingly, there was a small cute dog that followed us all the way up the great wall, and even reached the top. Incredible. Along the way back, there were some stalls which sold clothes and souvenirs. Unfortunately, I missed getting s small piece of metal which said "____ has climbed the great wall."

The next day, went to tian tan gong yuan. It was just a look around with nothing interesting in particular. Some people bought a chapteh and played in a secluded area. There was this place called the Echo Wall, though I never really hear any echo. Furthermore, I lost my ticket in there, so was unable to go to another attraction in the park.

Other than this two fieldtrips, the week was generally not too exciting an experience. Time flies, hopefully the last 2 weeks would be a nice and fruitful experience.

Immersion week

Time flies and the 5 days of immersion week is over.
Quite a nice week. A few students talked to me. Their lessons were quite interesting too, and I think the class was a pure science one as it did not have any humanities lessons at all. Interesting to hear the lessons we that usually have in english in Chinese.

today, we went to 国家大剧院 also known to some as "the egg", like the esplanade is "the durian". It was also like esplanade inside, full of theatres for the performances, so there was nothing much in particular other than an exhibition. After that went to hong qiao, where I bought a pair of shoe for 50 yuen thanks to a friend's help in haggling.

Overall, quite a nice week, though I'm beginning to fall ill.

1 week in BSC

Time flies and its been a week in BSC.

Had bio test on Thurs and a math test coming thursday.
Went to places like tian an men, xi dan and Tianjin.

Tian an men was nice with a big mao ze dong picture at the entrance. Walked thru to the end and bought a pack of specially designed cards. Then went to a park where we climbed up to see the middle road of Beijing thingy.

Ytd went to xi dan where everything was especially expensive where this random doraemon t-shirt cost like 240 yuan which equates to about 60 Sing--. However, in the middle of an expensive district, I found a shop which sold jeans at like 45 yuan, equating to bout 10 sing. haha

Today went to Tian jin eco-City. Quite a waste of time. Nothing much learnt yet we have to do a write up on it... Went for lunch before going to a culture street or at least its direct translation. Dinner-ed and came back at like 9.

What an interesting time.

BSC day 3

Today is the third day in BSC and first day of lessons.

Ytd, there was a field trip that was boring and cold. Went to the bird nest olympics stadium to suffer in the open air and also take pictures of the bei bei jing jing huan huan ying ying ni ni. It was also freaking cold as well. At night didnt do anything productive.

Today started lessons. Chinese history and literature were sleep-inducing. Even Yan Yu was half-asleep. Maths was lol. Had a brief snowball fight during the break. my hand was like frozen. Then was IHC where lim hc was er.. ok. Then afternoon go to some place about china history/future. A walkthrough where most people were busy attempting to catch photos and the speaker as well. Then watched a movie where people had a visit to slumberland. Then went to this place where I had a first taste of some red red mini-apples (the fruit) covered with sugar that I don't remember wad its called. Came back for dinner and had a rather unproductive self study session where I caught up with ppl from Sg and find out I am missing IH Ace opportunities.

That's sad. Good bye.

BSC!

Ytd at 6 am was at airport, bidding goodbyes, receiving bon voyages from various people.Had a short breakfast before entering the check-in area and boarded the plane soon after. Other than that I was slacking/packing.

And the best part is that even went I'm going Beijing I still have to hand up homework by Monday. wow.I wish IT weren't so advanced that we don't have email so I dun have to hand up..

List of fun things to be done:
Physics SPA 3
English Essay
IHC Project thingy.

Life is so damn fun.

BSC

Time flies...

It has been nearly two months since I last posted. Many things have happened. CNY, VMC,Venture Night Hike, Christmas, New Year etc etc.

Very soon, I will be leaving Singapore for the Beijing Satellite Campus. No doubt, it would be a very fun experience, promised by friends from previous batches. However, one of the largest opportunity costs is the missing of lessons like biology where there is NO replacement. Also, along with the missing of lessons come with the price of a week full of test.

The past week for the BSC-bound:
Monday, Physics test
Tuesday, Nothing
Wednesday, Geography(those who took geog IHE)
Thursday, IHC
Friday, Chemistry

Basically this meant mugging from practically Sunday to Thursday. A book, midnight sun is currently in the draft state, and its basically Twilight from the viewpoint of the vampire.

Overall its quite nice a story to me but there's always criticism.
One is as follows:
"We get it. She thinks he's hot. Move along"-The Philadelphia Inquirer on Twilight.
But then there's always selective reading, skipping parts. Some felt the vampire was too protective and the girl oversensitive.

The vampire seems to be just like any normally superhero -- super strength, speed, just that they have a diet of blood. Shouldn't take too long to read I guess, taking about slightly over a week.

Would recommend for people who like romance story.

Sounds like an advertisement @_@

Strengthsquest

Ok after seeing probably all of my sch mates posting this, I decided to post on this too.

Harmony
You look for areas of agreement. In your view there is little to be gained from conflict and friction, so you seek to hold them to a minimum. When you know that the people around you hold differing views, you try to find the common ground. You try to steer them away from confrontation and toward harmony. In fact, harmony is one of your guiding values. You can’t quite believe how much time is wasted by people trying to impose their views on others. Wouldn’t we all be more productive if we kept our opinions in check and instead looked for consensus and support? You believe we would, and you live by that belief. When others are sounding off about their goals, their claims, and their fervently held opinions, you hold your peace. When others strike out in a direction, you will willingly, in the service of harmony, modify your own objectives to merge with theirs (as long as their basic values do not clash with yours). When others start to argue about their pet theory or concept, you steer clear of the debate, preferring to talk about practical, down-to-earth matters on which you can all agree. In your view we are all in the same boat, and we need this boat to get where we are going. It is a good boat. There is no need to rock it just to show that you can.

Includer
“Stretch the circle wider.” This is the philosophy around which you orient your life. You want to include people and make them feel part of the group. In direct contrast to those who are drawn only to exclusive groups, you actively avoid those groups that exclude others. You want to expand the group so that as many people as possible can benefit from its support. You hate the sight of someone on the outside looking in. You want to draw them in so that they can feel the warmth of the group. You are an instinctively accepting person. Regardless of race or sex or nationality or personality or faith, you cast few judgments. Judgments can hurt a person’s feelings. Why do that if you don’t have to? Your accepting nature does not necessarily rest on a belief that each of us is different and that one should respect these differences. Rather, it rests on your conviction that fundamentally we are all the same. We are all equally important. Thus, no one should be ignored. Each of us should be included. It is the least we all deserve.

Empathy
You can sense the emotions of those around you. You can feel what they are feeling as though their feelings are your own. Intuitively, you are able to see the world through their eyes and share their perspective. You do not necessarily agree with each person’s perspective. You do not necessarily feel pity for each person’s predicament—this would be sympathy, not Empathy. You do not necessarily condone the choices each person makes, but you do understand. This instinctive ability to understand is powerful. You hear the unvoiced questions. You anticipate the need. Where others grapple for words, you seem to find the right words and the right tone. You help people find the right phrases to express their feelings—to themselves as well as to others. You help them give voice to their emotional life. For all these reasons other people are drawn to you.

Developer
You see the potential in others. Very often, in fact, potential is all you see. In your view no individual is fully formed. On the contrary, each individual is a work in progress, alive with possibilities. And you are drawn toward people for this very reason. When you interact with others, your goal is to help them experience success. You look for ways to challenge them. You devise interesting experiences that can stretch them and help them grow. And all the while you are on the lookout for the signs of growth—a new behavior learned or modified, a slight improvement in a skill, a glimpse of excellence or of “flow” where previously there were only halting steps. For you these small increments—invisible to some—are clear signs of potential being realized. These signs of growth in others are your fuel. They bring you strength and satisfaction. Over time many will seek you out for help and encouragement because on some level they know that your helpfulness is both genuine and fulfilling to you.

Adaptability
You live in the moment. You don’t see the future as a fixed destination. Instead, you see it as a place that you create out of the choices that you make right now. And so you discover your future one choice at a time. This doesn’t mean that you don’t have plans. You probably do. But this theme of Adaptability does enable you to respond willingly to the demands of the moment even if they pull you away from your plans. Unlike some, you don’t resent sudden requests or unforeseen detours. You expect them. They are inevitable. Indeed, on some level you actually look forward to them. You are, at heart, a very flexible person who can stay productive when the demands of work are pulling you in many different directions at once.
Action Items

Ok that's all. Done for the day.

What an enjoyable stay at school.

After 1 day of slacking, I finally decided to post on the hottest and latest news about my very very interesting life.

Camp was overall slack and very relaxed, although with many reminders to be more serious and stuff. It was err. bout 80% of the time in school. Meaning 20% of the time out of sch. A rough estimate la.

Day 1.

Started with camp briefing. Camp Name dunno wad Hankonotaki or something, means 'Moment of Change'. Then started to think of group name. My group started the trend of "balls". Lol. Mine was meatballs, then there were fishball, birdballs and no balls. The latter 2 were told to changed of course. Became snow balls and beefballs later on.

Then later camp development. Wan pitch tent no pegs. How perfect. Fast forward. Lunch my patrol supposed to cook. Then Mr Lee was complaining it was too late to cook and ordered seniors to go packet food for us. Yay so shiok xD. Discussed for campfire item. then lunch camp and we had fun. Then was some teambuilding games I think. One involved forming a circle and untangling hands. another involved using twine to stack cups. the last involved carrying one guy over the other 3's head to a certain point. Then next was supposed to be swimming. But played football first. IMBA Pro help my team own of course. Then went swimming. Swam 10 laps. Then continue swimming. Lol. Then the duty patrol go cook. Then soon went to wash up. Then receive the VERY UNFORTUNATE new that IMBA PRO needa go to NPC. How sad.. Then after that makan. Mr Lee cooked a whole big pot of rice.(He revealed on the last day it was meant for 60 ppl and the camp only had like 18?) Then night activity. Just a random solo hike round the sch. Had checkpoint names like "Blue Pillar", "Black Dot 29", "Union", "White Box" Blah Blah. Unfortunately, we all grouped together eventually. My team spirit was low during supper, due to a PATHETIC 2 man patrol. -Lights out- Predicted to have thunderstorm in night, so slept indoors. Woke up at 2:30 am for 20 pumpings and went to sleep. Caused me to wake up bout every hour later. Terrible!

Day 2

Continued camp. Woke up to know it was time for breakfast.(Yay no morn PT). Then was inspection. How slacky. Checked once nia xD. Then we were supposed to help NPC shift the spars. But then Mr Lee chased us away. Some just fake and continue helping. Then we went to scouts den do something I can't rmb. Then it was time to do backwoods man. Mr Lee was kping coz it was bout 12:30 and worried we too late eat. Jerrold help us and managed to cook some chicken. Black pepper chicken. Yummy. Well not really. Apples were definitely the BEST part of the meal. Sweet and tasty. Carbon rice was definitely not too delicious.

Then I don't know what happened but apparently we had some song session or something. Learnt and sang some old songs which lyrics I dunno. Also the many variations of songs like Titanic. Quite fun. Then soon help out with dinner. Shredded some chicken. Yummy. Dinner was fried rice(using the leftover cooked rice) and shredded chicken with delicious black pepper sauce. We also spammed it into the rice too while eating. That night we had solo hike. I was the last sec 3 to go. How sad.. Then while walking in, 5 cars drew past me, forcing me to lose my night sight. Then as I was enjoying the scenery, I heard footsteps. Shocked, I turned around and saw a dark figure. Luckily it wasn't a ghost but a junior. Walked to the end point together. Then went out, walked back to HCI, and went to bathe. Then it was time to sleep. But first to choose a scary location in school. Apparently I got a not scary location near the table tennis area. Had the sad thing of waking up once every hour. -End of Day-

Day 3

Had morn PT. Then went breakfast. Then inspection. Then it was SRIT. First station for my group, need to rescue a fallen "hand bag"(a pail). Yea. Easily got it back by throwing the lashing over it and dragging the pail back. Then was told to use a dustbin as a tree. 2nd station. At scouts den. Not too sure wad happened. I was unconscious with a right arm injury. Then 3rd station was bout a fight. very tiring station. Last was a station was one where we were trapped in an island. Learnt that must use shiny object to reflect light into pilot eyes and make him blind and crash. Haha. Just to attract attention. Then was told to bathe so we were clean and fresh to welcome the St Nicks Guides. Showered and saw track ppl camping in toilet playing bridge. Then had lunch. Then we were given our camp tee for there were no fresh t shirt liao. Then the guides came and given a briefing about the Amazing Race.

First stop. Clue: Some word puzzle where you had to derive HOT SPRINGS. The grp didnt know hot springs existed in singapore. Found out later that the only one existed in Sembawang. Then took 157 or something to MacRitchie and 156 to Bishan. Then MRT to YiShun and finally 959 or something for 4 stops. Walked a short distance before reaching. Some other groups were alr walking out. It was a choice of drinking raw eggs or waiting for them to boil. Common "Amazing Race" sense told you to drink it raw. Drinking the first one, I felt it was more of half boiled, having been soaked for sometime by HOT SPRINGS water. Then 2nd one I tank. 3rd one a junior tank. last junior slack dun wan drink. Next stop was Blk 152 in Toa Payoh, supposedly the tallest in the area. MRT-ed there. Found it in no time. Were scammed to go to 40th floor at first. Then found the station master at 1st floor. Then gotta climb up to 30th floor. The others seemed to have a hard time or so. Then went up, take photo then go down. Last stop VivoCity. Again MRT-ed there. Then we had to take photo of 3 JC2 seniors. found them in no time and left to go back to HCI. MRT to Newton and bused back. Was 6th out of 8. Not too bad. Dinner, was supposed to communicate but had a daoing session. Then campfire. Had much fun. Sad my grp tio dao. Never got the chance to act out the planned skit. Then we started worrying for the night. Fears of the much feared Fire Drill. Adult leaders talked about how they are leaving the troop to become and Auxillary runned troop in 2010. Meaning my batch :O Took up our "bathing" time in which no one bothered to do so anyway. and then went to sleep. Slept in tent for first time of the camp. On the last day. Lol.

Day 4.(Last day YAY)

Woke up at nearly 6, to hear a guy saying 30 mins to fall in. Made me think it was fire drill. BUT YAY. NO FIRE DRILL. THE CAMP ROX.After being delighted at the info, we relaxed awhile. Then changed to wushi kit for the performance planned that day. slacked without inspection. Was told to do knuckle pumping and destroy our poor knuckles. Had breakfast. Then slack abit then go performance. Then turn out not enuff ppl to do 2 lions. 1 tail but no head, coz only the supposed to be drummer knew how to do head. So sad. Then last minute called a sec 2 to be lion head. Then Adult scout leader and a JC1 senior had to come help. but somehow they should have been the other's role. But anyway I was tail to the sec 2. it was a screwed up performance but we received appreciation, with the audience giving a round of applause. Went back to camp. Had camp debrief. Heard the other non lion dance had to do punishment for 45 mistakes. Then we were released shortly.

After a delicious meal at KAP, I went home.

Going for camp tmr

Will be leaving for a 4 D 3 N luxurious cruise to nowhere, organised by the HCI Scouts Troop.

I wish..

Oh well hope I dun die too badly. Went to cybercafe, went to snow world, went to some huanted house adventure that was "scary", went to watch The Coffin and Madagascar 2, went for massage. Fun eh?
Sadly these were of course unable to complete within the short period of 1 day, thus I had to stay there for 6 days. Anyway, after going Genting for trillion of times, I have finally onoe taken the Corkscrew, something I never dare took before. Not scary, just a very rough ride. Ever felt like flying out of seat. Spaceshot too. Air Resistance.

Anyway, it was a very fun and enjoyable trip. I enjoyed it tremendously.

Thank you for coming to my blog.
